Tash Johnson: Community Development
“I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to others, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again- Ettiene De Grellet.” Compassion is an innate trait of Johnson, which has been further shaped by her life experiences, the people she's met, and the many challenges she faced growing up as a young girl.

Founder of Tash Johnson & Co. LLC- a community organization that aims to bring people of the Tampa Bay commmunity together while raising awareness on community causes. Among her community involvements since the organization was founded in April 2013 included:
An event called "Outdoors & Mentor" a explorative picnic and outdoor trail event to serve as a fun mentorship experience for foster care children at Miracles Outreach Community Development Center. She also raised funds to assist students at the Merl Grove High School in Kingston, Jamaica, initiated a book drive for the Enid Kerr Library, and volunteered with Florida Autism Center of Excellence.
Tutor for Public School (Licensed by the State of Florida)- Board Certified Tutor in both Reading and Math for children of low income homes with learning disabilities (2010-present)
Vice President of Community Services for the University of Tampa Organization for Leadership and Development (UT GOLD) (2009-2010)
Production Asst of The 2012 Mother's Day Fashion Show at The Embassy Suites- in aid of the development of a low-cost beauty school for low-income women in Hillsborough county (2012)
President and Co-founder of RISE Volunteer Group- an organization serving to help people in inner cities throughout Florida and Jamaica (2007-2010)
Team Captain and Fundraising Coordinator, March for Babies-March of Dimes Initiative to help save the lives of premature babies (2009)
Mentor, Dimples Playground- mentored children between the ages of 2-12 years old (2009)
Actress in the Vagina Monologues- Global Stage Benefit Play which raises millions of dollars worldwide per year to aid women worldwide who have been victims of sexual abuse (2008, 2009, 2010)
Volunteer Coordinator, March Madness Basketball Tournament hosted by Success for Kids and Families-to help provide opportunities for children who have been emotionally and physically abused (2008)
