Volunteering Abroad -(The Bahamas):
In 2011, while visiting the Bahamas, Johnson emerged herself into volunteer work serving to support the Bahamas Crisis Center. Though not a victim of domestic abuse herself, she supported a national marketing campaign where her face (through professional makeup) was transformed into a gruesome image of a heavily battered woman. Not the typical thing for a tourist to do, but as an island girl herself with friends living in the Bahamas, supporting the cause meant more to her. The shooting of the advertisement was done at the National Art Gallery of Bahamas by renown national photographer, Schrad Lightbourne

Using her Talents to Aid Global Causes locally (Democratic Republic of Congo)
Johnson is not just a business woman. In 2008 and 2009, she represented thousands of women throughout the world in the fight against women abuse, serving as an Actress in the Vagina Monologues, a world renowned play that echoes the message of ending violence against women. Performing two of the leading monologues, "My Angry Vagina" and "My Vagina was My Village", Johnson managed to evoke emotions from laughter to tears in the audience with a dramatic stage presence of each piece. Proceeds for these performance served to not only The Springs of Tampa Bay (a center for abused women in her local community) but also women suffering from genital mutiltation and other sexual abuses in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Global Representation
The year 2011 was quite an interesting year for Johnson-one she would never imagine being she is not quite the pageant girl.
All the same, considering her zeal for global affairs, media, and marketing she was invited to participate in the Miss.Jamaica Global competition whereby she would compete with other women of Jamaican heritage for the honor of a National Title to represent the island on an international platform. Johnson placed among the top 10 of over a hundred applicants proceeding the grand corination of Miss Jamaica Global 2011 held at the Grand Palladium Hotel in Jamaica.
